Girls Flag Football League – Winter Details
The Sunday morning program will kick-off on February 15th. There will be two weeks of practice followed by controlled developmental gameplay refereed by trained officials. All events will occur inside at GOALS in Catonsville, Maryland. March 29 will be the last day of the season. Age Divisions are 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17yrs old. Activities are 55- minutes, with time slots between 8:15 am and 3 pm. Age determination date is February 1, 2026. All players will receive a uniform top. We ask that participants wear dark-color bottoms they are comfortable in. Closed toe shoes required, cleats optional (no metal). Mouth guard required for all on field activities. All other equipment provided.
Teams are led by experienced and trained Be You Sports Inc. flag football coaches. In addition to teaching the fundamentals of flag football, coaches will lead SEL activities to develop and strengthen the social and emotional health of participants.

Our first initiative, the Be You Sports Girls Flag Football League, united 70 girls between the ages of 5-15yrs old in Spring 2024, over 100 girls in Fall 2024, maxed out at 60 girls in Winter 2025, and completed the first 365-day journey with over 120 girls in Spring 2025.
